DETROIT (3/30/13) – The Detroit men's tennis team dropped its Horizon League home opener to Wright State Saturday at the Franklin Athletic Club.
 
Chris Cheung broke the school record for doubles wins with his 45 win of his career as he teamed with Jay Joshi for a win at third doubles (8-5).

Freshman Rafael Orantes earned his team-leading eighth win of the season in straight sets at fourth singles (6-1, 6-1).
 
UDM fell to 5-11 (0-3 HL) as Wright State improved to 12-6 (3-0 HL). The Titans will continue Horizon League play when they travel to UIC on Saturday and then Valparaiso on Sunday.
