The Titans will square off with the Wildcats, who are ranked 11
th nationally, Saturday at 6:30 p.m. from Evanston, Ill., before returning home to the Franklin Athletic Club to take on the Cougars Sunday at 6 p.m.

SCOUTING THE TITANSDetroit is 2-8 on the season while facing some top-level opponents. In singles, the Titans are 22-38 and are a led by a pair of freshmen in
Adam Zychowicz and
Nicholas Solarewicz, who have tallied five and four wins, respectively. Zychowicz is 2-0 from the fourth position and 3-2 from the sixth, while Solarewicz is 2-1 from the fifth spot.
Patryk Koscielski has a pair of wins from the top line, followed by
Nathan Ponton with three wins from the first and second spot.
In doubles, the Titans are 11-17 overall, with the duo of
Chance Conley and
Griffin Mertz leading the way at 6-4.
LAST TIME OUTDetroit fell 5-2 to Northwestern (Ohio) in its most recent action, Feb. 27. The Titans were led by
Ismail Kadyrov and Zychowicz, who won 6-2, 7-6 and 7-5, 6-3, respectively.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATSThe Wildcats are on a roll with nine consecutive victories this spring, catapulting themselves up to No. 11 in the national rankings. Northwestern's lone loss came at the hands of No. 7 Illinois on Jan. 23.
The Wildcats are 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents and are 47-13 in singles, led by Konrad Zieba at 7-2 from the top line. Strong Kirchheimer is a perfect 10-0 from the third position.
The Wildcats have dominated doubles with a 24-6 mark. Fedor Baev and Kirchheimer are 6-3 from the first position, while Sam Shropshire and Zeiba are 8-1 and Alp Horoz and Mihir Kumar are 8-2.
SCOUTING THE COUGARSChicago State is 2-10 on the season with wins over Cardinal Stritch and Prairie State. In singles, the Cougars are 13-50 overall. Christian Gonzalez and Gonzalo Martinez lead the way with four wins apiece from the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
The Cougars are 6-23 overall in doubles, with Gonzalez and Gabriel Niculescu pacing CSU at 3-4 from the first and second positions. The tandem of Felix Savard and Rohan Wattley is 2-2 from the second spot.
ON TAPFollowing this weekend's action, the Titans return to the court on Mar. 19 at Purdue. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m. from West Lafayette, Ind.
