DETROIT (2/17/17) – The University of Detroit Mercy men's tennis team returns to action Saturday night against Illinois State. The match is slated to begin at 5 p.m. from Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield.
SCOUTING THE TITANS
Detroit Mercy is 2-5 through the early going of the season, with wins over Duquesne and Wayne State. The Titans fell in a pair of road contests to Ball State and Notre Dame last weekend in their most recent action.

Illinois State enters the weekend at 4-4 overall, with wins over Arkansas Pine Bluff, Chicago State, Eastern Illinois and Wright State. The Redbirds' losses have come at the hands of No. 19 Arkansas, Tulsa, Marquette and Dayton.
Urh Krajnc Domiter has seen the lion's share of action from the top line and is 2-5 in singles. Andreas Boers leads the team with 11 singles wins while playing from the top three positions. Egehan Sertkaya and Dylan Steffens each have 10 singles wins from the middle of the order.

Following this weekend's action, the Titans return to Franklin Athletic Club on Feb. 22 to take on Toledo. The match is set to begin at 12 p.m.
