LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (3/9/17) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's tennis team fell to Georgia Gwinnett, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon from the GGC Tennis Facility in the Peach State.
The Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies, the top-ranked NAIA program, improved to 15-0 with the win.

Anna Davydova falling in a pair of closely contested 7-5 sets from the top singles line.
Freshman
Ksenia Providokhina won the opening set of No. 5 singles, 6-3, before falling in extra sets.
Senior
Nynke Van Der Goot dropped a tight opening set, 7-6, before being retired in the second.
The Titans return home for their next four contests, beginning with Eastern Michigan on Friday, Mar. 17. Detroit Mercy will also host Grand Valley State on Mar. 19, before beginning Horizon League play two weeks later against Milwaukee (Apr. 1) and Green Bay (Apr. 2).
