Summary

Biography

2016: Played in all 10 games with three starts… Took eight shots with four on goal and netted one marker… Also picked up a ground ball… Fired in his lone goal on the road at Canisius… Scooped up his only ground ball on the road at Manhattan… Attempted a career-high four shots in the season finale against Marist.

2015: Played in all 14 games… Scored seven goals and registered eight points… Tallied his first collegiate goal and points with a marker and an assist in the season-opening win over Ohio State… Also had a caused turnover in that game… Put in a goal at Michigan and then extended his streak to three straight games finding the back of the net against Robert Morris… Posted a goal at Bellarmine and also picked up his first career ground ball… Corralled a season-high two ground balls against Manhattan… Beat the goalie versus Monmouth for his first career MAAC score… Recorded his first multi-goal game with two markers at Siena, including the game-winner with 33 seconds left.

2014: Appeared in three games as a redshirt freshman... Took one shot and it was on goal against Marist at home. 

2013: Did not see action in any games.

Prior To Detroit: Earned four letters at Saline high school, but missed most of his senior year with an injury…He earned All-State honors as a junior after leading the team in scoring with 48 goals and 43 assists…A team captain, he was also selected First Team Southeastern Conference (SEC) and was the Hornets' Team MVP…For his career, the attackman totaled 104 goals and 79 assists…Played club with Team Total helping the squad to a title at the Notre Dame lacrosse and Summer Sizzle Tournaments in 2010…He was also a part of the Connect Program in high school which helps special needs students.

Personal: Son of Amy and John Harris…Has three older brothers, including Scott Harris, who was a four-year member of the Titan lacrosse team and left as UDM’s all-time leading scorer with 95 points… His two other brothers played club lacrosse at Eastern and Central Michigan, while his father played baseball and mother played field hockey at Springfield College… Chose Detroit because of the great engineering program as well as growing up and seeing the lacrosse program built from the ground up with his brother one of the Titans’ first recruits… An Engineering major.
