2016: Appeared in 10 games with one start… Had two points with a goal and an assist and two ground balls… Scored a goal at #1/2 Notre Dame… Picked up two ground balls against Quinnipiac… Handed out an assist in the season finale versus Marist… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and earned the Academic Excellence Award, given to Titan student-athletes who have achieved academic excellence during their time at Detroit recording at least a 3.0 GPA for every semester that they have participated in college athletics… Also selected to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2015: Took part in all 14 games on the season… Finished ninth on the team with a career-best 19 ground balls, while totaling a career-high five points and two caused turnovers… Had a ground ball in the season-opening victory over Ohio State… Scooped up two ground balls against nationally-ranked Marquette… Scored his first collegiate goal at Bellarmine… Picked up three ground balls versus Monmouth… Recorded a goal and an assist along with a career-best four GB’s at Siena… Had a caused turnover and two ground balls against Canisius and forced a turnover with a GB at Quinnipiac… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2014: Saw action in 10 games… Had two ground balls and was whistled for two penalties… Corralled a ground ball at Robert Morris and in the road victory at VMI… Earned a spot on the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team. 

2013: Saw action in 10 games as a rookie and really started to get into a groove as the season went on… Totaled two caused turnovers, a ground ball and an assist… Made his collegiate debut at home against Quinnipiac… Recorded a ground ball at Siena… Tallied his first career point with a helper at Marquette… Had both of his caused turnovers in the regular-season finale victory over Canisius… Earned a spot on the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: Earned three letters in lacrosse as an offensive standout at Dexter High School…Selected First Team All-State as a senior after tallying 116 points on 66 goals and 50 assists… That was after a junior campaign that saw him post 65 goals and 41 assists for 106 points, earning First Team All-Conference and All-Region as well as Honorable Mention All-State…He turned heads on the club scene and was named the Most Improved player at the Army Camp in 2010 and MVP in 2011, while also making the All-Star Team for the Chicago Cup…Off the field, he was a member of the National Honor Society and earned a host of honors including the All-Academic Achievement Award, Community Service Award, Excellence in Fine Arts and German II and the Rotary Club of Dexter Logo Design Award.

Personal: Son of Julie and David Spuller …Has four siblings… Enjoys playing paintball, graphic design, video production and watching netflix…Chose Detroit because of the education and the opportunity to play lacrosse …A Biology major.
