2016: Played in three games as a rookie… Made his collegiate debut against #19/17 Marquette… Had two ground balls and a shot against Siena… Posted a shot on goal versus Quinnipiac… Earned a spot on the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: A four-year letter winner and a team captain in lacrosse… Led the midfield unit in scoring as a junior and senior and totaled 108 markers in his career… Selected a Brine All-American as a junior… Named All-Midwest as a sophomore, junior and senior… Tabbed All-State, All-Region and All-County as a junior and senior… Helped the squad to a regional and state championship as a senior… Played club with the Juiced Cherries, Chesapeake Rock and Warrior Lacrosse… His Juiced Cherries team went 58-0… Earned Performing Arts Conservatory and was a member of the Theater and Guitar Club…
 
Personal: Son of Kate and Jim Callaghan… His mom played soccer at Long Island University... Has an older and younger brother… His two grandfathers and a grandmother attended the University as well as 10 uncles… Lists his biggest thrill in sports as beating Brother Rice and winning a state championship as a senior, which ended their 13-year run… Chose Detroit because of the great academics, catholic education and it was close to home… A Health Administration major.
