2016: Started all 12 games on defense… Tied for second on the team with a career-high 10 caused turnovers and also corralled 15 ground balls… Took 12 faceoffs coming up with a pair of wins… Tallied his first collegiate goal on his first collegiate shot against #20/20 Air Force… Began the year recording two ground balls at #11/12 Ohio State… Posted two caused turnovers and two ground balls at #1/2 Notre Dame… Registered a caused turnover and two GB’s at Manhattan and versus #20/20 Air Force, where he was also 2-of-4 on faceoffs… Picked up a season-high three ground balls and forced two turnovers against Quinnipiac… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll as well as the MAAC All-Academic Team…Finished his career with 23 caused turnovers and 55 ground balls in 52 career contests.

2015: Played in all 14 games with 12 starts… Tallied a career-high eight caused turnovers – good for fourth on the team - and collected 16 ground balls… Went 1-for-4 on faceoffs taking the spot with the man-down… Tied for fourth on the team with four penalties totaling 3.5 minutes… Had a ground ball and a caused turnover against Robert Morris… Picked up two ground balls against No. 16/17 Marquette at the Midwest Classic… Posted two caused turnovers and two ground balls at Bellarmine… Won his only faceoff and had a GB versus Mercer… Finished with a caused turnover and three ground balls against Manhattan… Registered a caused turnover and two ground balls at Marist… Tied his career high with three caused turnovers and scooped up a career-best four ground balls in the come-from-behind win over Monmouth... A member of the MAAC Academic Honor Roll. 

2014: Played in 13 games with two starts… Was seventh on the team with 20 ground balls and he also had four caused turnovers… Was 8-of-27 in faceoffs… Began the season with a career-high three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the win over Mercer… Picked up three ground balls at Michigan, where he won seven faceoffs in a career-high 21 attempts… Had three GB’s against Bellarmine… Won his only faceoff attempt and totaled two ground balls and a caused turnover versus Quinnipiac… Recorded a pair of ground balls at Monmouth and in the MAAC Championship Semifinals at Marist… A member of the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC All-Academic Team. 

2013: Played in 13 games as a freshman… Was 2-of-6 in faceoffs, all taken with the man-down, and also recorded a caused turnover and four ground balls… Saw the field in the season opener at Ohio State, dropping a faceoff in the affair… Had a caused turnover and a ground ball at Navy… Picked up a season-high two ground balls at Marist… Won his first faceoff at Manhattan and also picked up a GB in the contest.

Prior To Detroit: Lettered in lacrosse at Detroit Catholic Central… Tabbed First Team All-State as a senior…Helped the Shamrocks to a No. 3 ranking as a junior and a regional championship appearance as well as runner-up at the 2013 Catholic League championship …He played club lacrosse for 1763.

Personal: Son of Pamela and Anthony Yono…Has an older brother… Chose Detroit because it’s a great Division I Lacrosse program in his hometown… A Business major.
