Julia Fernandes had a difficult task going up against the No. 57 ranked doubles pair in the country in Nino Mebuke and Miriam Westerink. The Eagles duo would win by an 8-2 score to take the doubles point.
In singles, Cornwell forced a third set after a convincing 6-1 second set win playing in the No. 4 position. A 6-4 defeat in the final frame would narrowly keep the Titans out of the win column.
A second singles match needed more than two sets as sophomore
Raina Halabi forced a third set tiebreaker playing at No. 3 singles but was on the wrong end of a 10-4 decision.
