DETROIT (1/22/2026) -- After collecting 11 wins last week, the University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's track and field team will be close to home when the Titans make the short journey to Eastern Michigan on Saturday for the Bob Parks Memorial.
The competition will start at 10:00 a.m. with field events, with the running events beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Bowen Fieldhouse.
The Titans cleaned up at last week's SVSU Classic, taking home 11 gold finishes, while recording 12 second and third-place efforts.
For the women, freshman
Imani Sharp won a pair of events in the 60-meters and 200m, breaking the school record with a time of 7.61 in the 60m.
Freshman
Nadia Hill broke the Titan freshman mark in the high jump at 1.73 meters, second in the school record book, and graduate senior
Abby Winkle was in the 400m in 59.26 and ran a leg on the gold place 4x400.Â
The men saw freshman
Colin Murray win the 3,000m, and freshman
Nickolas Henson take home the top spot in the long jump. Senior
Jaden McKenzie helped the 4x400 to a win and was runner-up in the 400m, while freshman
Angelo Finnie Jr. was second in the 60-meter hurdles.
