2013: Started all 15 games as a senior and earned the Coaches Award… Finished fifth on the team with a career-best 31 ground balls and third tallying a career-high 15 caused turnovers… Tied his season high with four ground balls at Marist, at Marquette and against Siena in the MAAC Championship victory… In that title game, he also tied his career best with three caused turnovers… Had a caused turnover and two GB’s against #2 Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Championship… Recorded two caused turnovers and two ground balls at Navy and in the win over Manhattan… Corralled three GB’s at Robert Morris and at Siena… Played in 49 games in his career and totaled 41 caused turnovers and 69 ground balls with one goal… A four-year member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and a member of the MAAC’s All-Academic Team and Honor Roll.

2012: Made 14 starts, while playing in all 15 games…Finished fourth on the team with 14 caused turnovers and seventh tallying 27 ground balls, career highs in both categories…Part of a Titan defensive unit that helped Detroit lead the nation in caused turnovers…Scored his first collegiate goal on his first collegiate shot at Mercer…Tied his career high with four ground balls and also had two caused turnovers against Marist…Posted a career-best three caused turnovers while scooping up a pair of ground balls at Manhattan…Had three GB’s and two caused TO’s at No. 6 North Carolina and at Canisius…Picked up three ground balls at Georgetown and against Siena…A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC All-Academic Team and the MAAC's Academic Honor Roll.

2011: Saw action in 14 games, receiving the starting nod three times…Ended the season with 12 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers…Posted a career-best four ground balls and tied his career-high with a pair of caused turnovers against Robert Morris…Also had two caused turnovers at Mount St. Mary’s…Had a pair of GB’s in the win over Manhattan and two ground balls and a caused turnover in the regular season finale at Marist…A MAAC All-Academic team and 2010-11 Honor Roll member as well as a recipient of the Titans’ AD’s Honor Roll.

2010: Played in five games on the year coming away with a caused turnover in the season finale against Wagner….A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: A three-year letterwinner for one of the best prep teams in the state…Named All-Region as a senior…Helped his team to a state finals appearance as a sophomore…The Shamrocks also won a district championship in 2008…Was also a member of the Spanish Club, Brother’s Club and National Honors Society…Played a year of club lacrosse for Team Total.

Personal: Son of Carol and John Dwyer…Has four siblings…His grandfather attended University of Detroit in the 1950’s…Lists his biggest thrill in sports as making it to the state finals in 2007…Majoring in accounting.
