Prior To Detroit: Lettered for four years in lacrosse and three years in football…Named honorable mention All-County as a junior and senior… Amassed 30 goals, 21 assists and 64 groundballs, while playing attack, midfield, LSM and on man-down defense as a senior…He played club for five years for the Long Beach PAL as well as with the Long Beach Lacrosse Club, helping his team to national runner-up honors…On the gridiron, he helped the Golden Tornadoes to a county championship as a sophomore and a senior as well as a Long Island Championship runner-up effort in both of those years…Away from lacrosse, he has been a Relay for Life Overnight Cancer Walk Participant, a “Rock n Wrap” volunteer (local food bank charity) and a volunteer at the Francis Pope Memorial Foundation volunteer golf outing fundraiser, which raises money for families of children with catastrophic illnesses.

Personal: Son of Laura and Martin Donohue…Has an older sister… Lists his biggest thrill in sports as playing football at halftime in Giant Stadium at age 9 and winning a county football championship … Chose Detroit because of the atmosphere and support of a small Catholic University with the opportunity to participate in UDM’s DI lacrosse program.… A Business major.
