2013: Saw action in five games on the year… Was 2-of-10 in faceoffs and also created a caused turnover… Won his first faceoff going 1-for-2 at Marist… Also won one against VMI the next week and had a caused turnover… Earned a spot on the University of Detroit Mercy’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the MAAC Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: Earned four letters as a faceoff specialist for Hicksville…Helped the Comets to a Nassau County Class A Championship in 2009…Invited to Top 205 as a sophomore and junior…Played club with For The Love Of The Game…A member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Lisa and David Tarzia…Has three younger siblings… Chose Detroit because of his belief in the program and the players…Lists his biggest thrill in sports as beating rival Massapequa in double overtime in 2011 to recapture the Walker Cup, a trophy given annually to the winner of the game…Undecided on major.
