Our final honoree made an immediate impact as a freshman and continued to shine in cross country for all four years. Angie Lefere lettered in cross country and track and field from 1997-01 and won the MCC cross country title as a freshman, where she was also the league's Newcomer of the Year. She was All-MCC all four years in cross country and ran sub-19-minute 5k's in 24 of her 28 races, the most in school history, and owned the 5k and 6k school records at the time of her graduation. She posted four top-100 NCAA Regional finishes, including her best place of 40th in 1997, leading the Titans to their best regional finish of 16th.  In track, she captured the MCC indoor 5,000 meters twice, setting a meet record, and won the outdoor 3,000 meters once, helping the Titans win two indoor league championships in 1998 and 1999 and two outdoor titles in 1999 and 2000.
