University of Detroit Mercy Athletics

Lukas was a four-year letterman in basketball at the University of Detroit. An outstanding defensive player and a strong rebounder, he scored 106 career points with a high of 13 against Western Ontario as a sophomore. He also coached the freshman basketball squad during the 1937-38 season.
