Goldstein is a member of the U-D 1,000-point Club, ending his career with 1,001 points. He was U-D’s second-leading scorer in 1954 and 1955 behind Hall of Famer Guy Sparrow, scoring 365 points as a junior with a 14.0 game average. He started every game at guard for three years and was captain of the 1955-56 team.
