Daniels was the U-D Hall of Fame’s first female inductee. She led the Titans in scoring her first season with a 14.5 average. She had consecutive 28-point efforts in 1979 vs. Eastern Michigan and Grand Valley State. Daniels was chosen as All-State and All-American by the National Scouting Association. She went on to sign with the St. Louis Streaks of the Women’s Pro Basketball League.
